Glenn Beck - An Inconvenient Book

Glenn Beck is the third-most listened to talk radio host on the air. He is closing in on Rush Limbaugh.

Glenn, while obviously conservative, shies away from the 'us vs. them', 'Democrats vs. Republican' discussions. He's more of a 'war on idiocy in government' kinda guy. He's striving to make 'common sense' common again.

He's just released a book: An Inconvenient Book: Real Solutions to the World's Biggest Problems. It's supposed to be full of interesting facts that will totally freak you out.

I'm hoping that this will be a book that conservatives and liberals alike will find amusing and interesting. The problems and issues that he brings up could really be addressed a-politically, if someone really cared to. (Unfortunately in this day and age, people tend to view issues through their political lens first and foremost.) Add to that the fact that Glenn Beck can be pretty hilarious, and it's bound to be a good read!

So, if you're looking for a Christmas gift for your friends with a 'current events' bent, this is worth checking out.
