Diablo 3 - Blizzard

Diablo 3 - Blizzard

Blizzard announced Diablo 3 today, at the Worldwide Invitational. They had a demo of the game, but do not yet have a version available even for Alpha testers.

With the Wrath of the Lich King so close to release, many were taken by surprise at this announcement. Gamer fans were sure that Blizzard was focusing on WotLK to the exclusion of other products.

Yet they will be pleased. The Diablo franchise was the bread and butter for Blizzard prior to World of Warcraft. In fact, Diablo 2 still holds the world record for fastest selling software: 1 million copies in 2 weeks. It's a well-loved game series, and even the World of Warcraft forums are abuzz with talk of the 'other' game.

It will basically be more of the same: 3rd person isometric view hack and slash. Selectable classes including a Witch-doctor with pet. (Warlock anyone? Geez those guys at Blizzard love their Warlock class! But I digress...) New types of quests and a more destructable environment.

Oh...and Deckard Cain is back. :) (Stay a while, and listen!)

No word yet on release date.

But many fans are very excited to hear from Blizzard that Diablo 3 is coming!

Wikileaks - Mormon and Scientology Documents

Wikileaks - Mormon and Scientology Documents

A new website called Wikileaks is stirring up trouble with Mormon and Scientology organizations.

Wikileaks has published confidential documents from both religious organizations. The leaked information is of such a nature that lower-level members of both groups wouldn't normally be exposed to them...or allowed to see them.

Some of the leaks reveal what seem to be the 'nuttier' parts of the religion, per the founder.

Of course, both churches have made big threats against Wikileaks, but as of yet have not taken Wikileaks to court.

Even though they have published entire 'copyrighted' works, there is protection of free speech for 'whistle-blowers' in the U.S. In other words, even if they were taken to court, they'd probably win.

Not to mention the fact that if the Mormon and Scientology churches took Wikileaks to court, it would draw even more attention to the documents that they don't want people to see.

When starting a new game, you are shown two random commercials. You can change the channel by pressing Up and Down to get new commercials. There is also a Hideo 1 and Hideo 2 channel, which are like Video 1 and 2.
# Control intermission sequences

During an intermission sequence, press D-pad Up to zoom the camera in, then use the Right Analog-stick to pan the camera around. The harder you press Up, the more zoomed in the camera view. Also, some intermission sequences have prompts to see it through Snake's eyes by holding L1 (look for the icon at the top left of the screen) or view flashback images by repeatedly tapping X when a prompt appears (look for the icon at the top right of the screen). You can also pause an intermission sequence by pressing Start.
# Intermission sequence extras

During the following intermission sequences, press L1 to see secret events:

Naomi upskirt: In Act 2, when Snake's talking to Naomi and drops his cigarette, use the hidden L1 option to look up her skirt.

Psycho Mantis' ghost: During the first intermission sequence with Beauty and the Beast, after using the option to look through L1, look to the left to see the ghost of Psycho Mantis.

# Reset Octocamo appearance

Shake the Sixaxis controller to return Snake's Octocamo to its neutral (black and blue) appearance.
# Shoot from inside a dumpster

There are dumpsters throughout the game which you can use to hide. Move in front of them, and press Triangle when the prompt appears. Once inside, if you have a handgun, The Operator for example, you can hold L1 to lift up the lid of the dumpster and aim your gun from inside.
# Hidden crop circle

When you are tracking Naomi's footprints after the Laughing Octopus fight, you will arrive at a river. Instead of crossing the river, look to your left. You will see another set of footprints. Follow these, and they will lead you to a crop circle where you will hear some strange dialogue about an alien abduction.
# Shake Rose's breasts

When you speak with Rose on the Codec, shake the Sixaxis to make her breasts move.
# Playboy magazine

To look through the Playboy magazine, press R1, then go into first person view. Then, hold L1 and press Circle to go through the pages.
# Remove frosty breath in Multiplayer mode

When playing in stages where your breath frosts, have Snake play dead while prone. His frosty breath will no longer be seen by others.
# Defeating Vamp

In the first part of the battle against Vamp, after you get his health low enough, he will fall down. As he gets up, grab him in a CQC hold, and inject him with the syringe that you obtained earlier. This will disable his Nanites and make him mortal.
# Metal Gear Solid series references

Look at the two puppets dangling from Screaming Mantis. The two puppets appear to be Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow from previous Metal Gear Solid games.

The three chickens in the Nomad are named Solid, Liquid, and Solidus.

When Snake hides from the two Irvings next to the box of watermelons, the box reads "No Place For Hideo".

You can see a ghost image of Hideo Kojima in Otacon's lab using the camera. It is between Policenauts and the poster that from a distance reads "Final Fantasy VI".

When Snake and Naomi talk about war changing and how it used to be "just a game", all of the Metal Gear Solid titles appear in an indexed list. After Metal Gear Solid 4, there are a few boxes titled "In Production."
# PlayStation 3 references

In the Act 1 briefing, there is a PS3 on the second floor of the plane.

When you send out the MK-2, look over Snake's shoulder by tilting the camera. He is using a PlayStation 3 controller to control it.

After you defat Crying Wolf in Act 4, Otacon calls you as you enter that building and tells you to change discs. He then catches himself, and starts talking about Blu-Ray and the PlayStation 3.
# Snatchers reference

The suit Snake wears in Act 3 is a homage to Gillian Seed, from Snatchers.
# Star Wars reference

In the Act 5 briefing, while Mei Ling is explaining the situation to everyone she says something about it being an impenetrable fortress or something similar. Snake then says, "He has his very own Death Star."
# Zone Of The Enders reference

Bourne Conspiracy Cheat Codes PS3

Bourne Conspiracy Cheat Codes PS3

Here are the Bourne Conspiracy Cheat Codes PS3:

Unlockable: Silenced Machinegun

To unlock a silenced machinegun, head to the in-game cheats menu and insert the following password: whattheymakeyougive.

Unlockable: Automatic Shotgun To replace your assault shotgun with an automatic shotgun, head to the in-game cheats menu and insert the following password: alwaysanobjective

Hint: Even The Odds After you get Castel's health down a certain amount he pulls out a knife. This gives Castel an edge in wrecking Jason Bourne's pretty face. You can disarm him though, by moving the fight over to the desk.

Once you are in front of the desk perform a takedown, and if Jason is in the right spot, he will stab Castel with a ball-point pen. Without the knife, Castel does a lot less damage. Note that you do need to do a takedown near the desk; any other location will allow Castel to keep his weapon.

Mass Effect Cheat Codes PC

Mass Effect Cheat Codes PC

Mass Effect for the PC is now available. The cheat codes seem to be limited, however the walkthrough below gives you everything you need to successfully complete the game.

SECTION 1: Prologue

1 - Shakedown
Our story begins as you head to the front of the Normandy, where Joker--the
ship's helmsman--has just finished a mass relay jump. The mass relays are
relics of an ancient civilization known as the Protheans, and allow rapid
travel throughout the galaxy. He relays his success to Nihlus Kryik, who is
overseeing the operation. Nihlus is a turian Spectre, an elite operative
charged with maintaining galactic stability at any cost. When Nihlus leaves,
Joker tells Lt. Alenko about his distrust for Spectres, at which point you
have an opportunity to voice an opinion. Your dialog choices can net you
Paragon or Renegade points. Choices in the upper part of the dialogue wheel
usually correspond with the Paragon alignment, while choices on the bottom of
the wheel usually correspond to the Renegade alignment. Captain Anderson
comes on the comm and asks you to report to the briefing room.

+ Paragon for agreeing with Joker
+ Renegade for chastising your crew
New Mission: "Prologue: On the Normandy"

2 - Pressly (Optional)
On your way back towards the briefing room you can overhear Navigator Pressly
having a conversation with Chief Engineer Adams. Speaking with Pressly
reveals his concerns about the mission. He feels that Nihlus and Anderson
are hiding something from the crew. Pressly can also give you some
information that will get you acquainted with the Normandy's unique stealth
systems.

3 - Jenkins and Chakwas (Optional)
Outside of the briefing room, Corporal Jenkins is having a conversation with
Dr. Chakwas. You can use this opportunity to learn about both crewmembers.
They can also tell you more about the Spectres, and Eden Prime, your
destination for this mission.

+ Paragon for being supportive of Jenkins
+ Renegade for telling Jenkins the mission isn't about him

4 - Spectre Training
Enter the briefing room and speak with Nihlus. He asks about Eden Prime, the
destination for the mission. Captain Anderson enters and reveals the true
nature of the operation: A Prothean beacon was unearthed on Eden Prime and
you are being sent in to recover it. Nihlus will also be using this
opportunity to evaluate you as a possible candidate for the Spectres. Before
you reach Eden Prime however, Joker patches through a distress signal from
the planet's surface, showing an attack by a massive spaceship of unknown
design. Needless to say, this complicates the mission, as you must now find
and secure the beacon while helping any survivors you find.
You can find the complete walkthrough at GameFAQs
